If you would have told me a few years ago that I would be loving this espadrille, I would have said you were crazy. Something about the covered toes and the ballerina strings was just not at all my style. But now that I’m a bit more aware of my esthetic preferences in clothing, it’s these simple details that make these pair of shoes so beautiful and classic! The espadrille is such a versatile shoe for spring/summer; you can dress them up with a dress for a wedding, or dressed down with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. No matter what you decide to wear them with, you will always look put together! And that’s all we can really hope for when we're getting ready for the day!
I styled my espadrilles with a pair of jeans and a simple white eyelet top. These are high waisted, “mom” style denim, which are slightly cropped which makes it easy for the laces to be tied up the ankle without the hems getting in the way. The eyelet top is crisp and breezy; the perfect partner to the canvas fabric over the top of the toes and jute-string detail on wedge heel.
Wedges are probably one of the easiest types of high heels to walk in. They allow your foot to distribute pressure more evenly when it touches the ground. So naturally, by the laws of physics, this puts less pressure on your feet! This allows you to be able to wear them all day and walk many a mile in less pain.
